CJR successfully completed the Earthworks Contract for Rangel's New Logistics Centre in Maia, further demonstrating its ability to deliver highly complex projects using exclusively its own resources.
Throughout the project, CJR deployed its own heavy equipment fleet, specialised workforce, permanent surveying team, and in-house laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance with the established deadlines.
To guarantee maximum operational efficiency, the project involved the use of large excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, drilling equipment, dump trucks, compaction rollers, crushing equipment, and various auxiliary machinery.
The accuracy of the works was ensured by a permanent surveying team, responsible for the rigorous control of levels and executed volumes throughout every stage of the project. Simultaneously, CJR's laboratory provided continuous technical support by carrying out testing and quality control procedures, ensuring full compliance with the technical specifications and all client requirements.
Key project figures:
- 60,000 m² of site clearing and vegetation removal;
- 60,000 m² of topsoil stripping;
- 56,000 m³ of excavation, including 27,000 m³ of rock excavation carried out using controlled blasting techniques by specialised professionals, in full compliance with all safety regulations;
- Crushing of the blasted rock using a primary crusher, allowing materials to be reused on-site and contributing to a more sustainable construction process;
- 47,000 m³ of engineered fill placed and quality-controlled to the highest standards.
