As part of the FAMI 2030 Project – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, CJR’s Human Resources Department carried out a working mission to São Paulo, Brazil, with the aim of strengthening the company’s international recruitment strategy, establishing new partnerships, and identifying qualified professionals to join CJR’s teams in Portugal.

The initiative provided an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the Brazilian labor market and establish new connections with institutional, business, and professional organizations, supporting an increasingly diverse and international talent acquisition strategy.

Strengthening Institutional Partnerships

During the mission, CJR met with AICEP Portugal, the Consulate of Portugal in São Paulo, and the Luso-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, where discussions focused on the challenges related to workforce availability in Portugal and new opportunities for cooperation in recruitment.

The team also established contacts with several members of the Luso-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, identifying potential partners and new opportunities to strengthen CJR’s presence in the Brazilian market.

New Channels for Engineering Recruitment

The agenda included a meeting with CREA-SP – Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of São Paulo, a key professional organization representing engineers in the state of São Paulo.

During the meeting, CJR’s Human Resources team gained insight into the platforms and tools provided by CREA-SP and explored how these resources could support the identification and recruitment of engineers across different fields and specialties interested in pursuing their careers in Portugal.

This partnership represents an opportunity for CJR to strengthen its access to qualified professionals and develop new channels for specialized recruitment.

Meeting with the São Paulo City Government

CJR was also received by the São Paulo City Government for a meeting focused on the challenges of attracting and retaining talent.

The discussions addressed Portugal’s current recruitment needs and potential forms of cooperation to connect CJR with young Brazilian professionals, creating new career opportunities and facilitating their integration into the Portuguese labor market.

Participation in CONARH

The mission also included CJR’s participation in CONARH – National Human Resources Management Congress, one of Brazil’s leading Human Resources events.

CJR’s presence at CONARH provided an opportunity to establish contacts with specialized recruitment companies, learn about new talent attraction and selection methodologies, and gain insight into the latest trends in the Human Resources sector.

One of the key topics was the use of Artificial Intelligence in recruitment and people management, allowing the team to explore new tools and approaches that may contribute to making talent acquisition processes more efficient.

The event also provided an opportunity to present CJR, S.A., its activities, and the career opportunities available in Portugal to potential partners and Brazilian professionals.

Building Connections, Bringing Talent Together

The mission to São Paulo strengthened CJR’s presence in the Brazilian market and created new connections between Portugal and Brazil, opening the door to future recruitment and cooperation initiatives.

Through this initiative, carried out as part of the FAMI 2030 Project, CJR continues to invest in international talent acquisition, promoting career opportunities in Portugal and contributing to the development of increasingly qualified, diverse, and well-prepared teams capable of meeting the challenges of a global market.

CJR remains committed to investing in people, partnerships, and new opportunities, bringing talent and the future closer together.
